Malaysia or Malay is the national and official language.
However, English is widely spoken especially by those
in the civil service and business sectors.
Although
Islam is the national religion of the country, Malaysian
Constitution guarantees freedom of worship. Islam, Christianity,
Hinduism, Buddhism and Taoism are the main religions
as evidenced by the unique architecture of mosques,
temples and churches found in various parts of the Sarawak.
